Learning profiles

          In the past few Humanities class we have been working on a project that is called "Learning Profiles". This is an activity to show what kind of learning I am most effective in and what we can do to improve. We did some experiments with our selves such as which are my dominant leg, arm, eye, ear and brain. It turns out that my dominant eye, arm and leg is my right and the dominant side of my ear is the left side. Surprisingly, I am dominant with my left-brain more than my right. The result of all this is my profile is a "B". After we did this we had to write a blog post about when we learn best, what I need to do, the strategies the would help me in my learning and what I want my teacher to know about to me. 

          I learn best when I am not working with a person that I am good friends because we will keep on talking about things that has nothing to do with the task that we are given so we won't get any of the work done. This is because when good friends does a project they want to goof around because it's the greatest time and sometimes they will not produce the best project that they can possibly make. I also lean best when I am focusing on the visual details. I analysis stuff when I am writing. I learn best when I am learning in a structured way. I learn best when I am seeing, speaking and writing when I learn something or else I do not find it easy to learn something. I also learn best when I can hear a little bit of music because I appreciate music and it makes me relax so I can do my best work and my brain stress will be less.

          I need to overcome my weakness such as memory, spelling, and some math skills. To do so I will works hard on my spelling so I would not need the computer to auto correct me on a spelling mistake. For my memory sometimes I forget lots of stuff because of stress and other distracting things so I will play memory games such as "match the cards". Another thing I can do to help my memory is by memorizing lines from a book or a movie. This will make my brain think harder so it will enlarge my memory so I would be able to memorize lots of things. Those are things I need to do. 

          I would like my teachers to know something important about this and me is my personality when I have a partner project. I want to get my project and start working on it. I don't like to be disorganized and get side tracked while we are doing a project or something because that makes me really stressed so my temper goes off so if there is a partner thing I need to be pared up with a person who will be serious about finishing a work or I would like to work solo so I can finish my work quickly and efficiently.
